I chose Scoia'tael even though I know Geralt in the books is as neutral a character as a witcher must be, a strong trace of his personality, even more since he did not act accordingly in that butchery in Blaviken It was an excellent playthrough!

Oh, and Witcher Wikia confirms my suspicion: if you'd like to follow through the other possible paths for whatever reason, the restarting point would be at the end of Chapter IV, when the Order is surrounding the Scoia'tael in Murky Waters and Alvin, Dandelion and Geralt are caught in the middle. Yeah, I haven't done the modules since I wanted to do a trilogy playthru, but I'll definitely try The Price of Neutrality after that's done. It is not on Steam though And frankly, playing the Scoia'tael path and keeping Alvin with Shani made me much closer to her, to the point that Triss, on the other hand, became a total nuissance.

Always on a bad mood and not much of a help. Besides, I didn't understand her dialog with the ladies through the mirror, which made me give Alvin to Shani in the first place. User Info: th3warr1or. The Path is the Witcher's Path, i. They go back to Kaer Morhen every winter. Anytime else, when they're wandering around, they're on the Path.

It means he's been on the road for 6 months. This game was set 6 months after Witcher 2 -- during which, he wasn't on the path -- so it makes sense. If he left Kaer Morhen a few weeks back, then he would've said he's been on the Path for a few weeks.
